Performance Analysis

The CPU is mainly affected by exhaust airflow, so with the single 120mm the mid-table delta T of 54°C is about right.

The GPU result, meanwhile, is far more impressive, and the C7-P1 Pro actually achieves the best result we’ve seen here with a delta T of just 44°C – this maybe isn’t surprising given that there are three intake fans very close to it all with direct access to cool air through the porous front panel.

Conclusion

We haven’t come away from the P7-C1 Pro that impressed other than where GPU cooling is a factor. The external design is certainly eye-catching, but it comes at the cost of functionality, especially where the dust filters are concerned, and the build quality throughout left us wanting too. We’d rather have seen an integrated RGB/fan solution rather than just bundling a hub in, but the P7-H1 is still a pretty powerful bit of kit given the amount of hardware it can serve and the motherboard compatability. There will definitely be people who love the design, and for those the price is actually reasonable when you consider the bundled hub, four fans (three being RGB), integrated RGB lighting, and tempered glass (plus you can get the same design for less if you opt for a non-Pro SKU), but for a general recommendation this cases misses the mark on account of shortcomings elsewhere.
